The intimacy also of having a small group walking tour by a local who is passionate about her city is so much better than some large generic tour. It was just enough time and she gave us some great wine recommendations also for dinner which was perfect. Highly recommend doing this experience with her.

The food at all stops were fresh and delicious!... read more They were served sharing style with plenty of serving spoons to make cross contamination a non-issue. The old town is fairly small, so the walks between restaurants are pretty short. Definitely to short if comparing to a traditional food tour. Goran did a great job of extending the time between restaurants with history of the old town. Goran grew up in the old town, so he had a very unique perspective on the city and the history of the entire area. Goran was very knowledgeable and more importantly on a food tour, he was fun! We tried different Croatian wines at the tasting which was excellent. We wrapped up the tour by saying hi to his kitties as we walked to get gelato from the best gelato in town in my opinion. Gianni. More on them in another review.
    I hope you get Goran. He is a special person that makes you feel like a local as you walk through the streets with him.
